Objectives
Henceforth, you will be able to use TRICAD MS with MicroStation CONNECT as the basis for efficient pipe design in your projects.

Training prerequisite
This basic training course is aimed at participants who already have experience in using MicroStation Connect.

    • Placement of pumps with predefined cells

  • Pipeline planning

    • Pipeline settings, line numbers, pipe classes
    • Design of a pipeline via AccuDraw in 3 views
    • Insertion of pipeline components, fittings and measuring instruments
    • Procedure for flange placement
    • Insertion of welds
    • Insulation of pipelines

  • Creation of pipe supports

    • Design of pipe supports with components from the MEFA catalog
    • Grouping of supports into a named group
    • Automatic generation of the support drawings

  • Generation of isometric models

    • Settings and options for isometric generation
    • Test functions via ISOGEN® (open pipelines)

  • Layout generation

    • Working with named views
    • Creation of clip volumes
    • Compilation of named views in the layout plan
